About James

James provides reliable, professional service and his excellent negotiation skills will benefit you when you buy or sell your home. 

With a family history in property ownership and management, Real Estate was a natural choice for James.  After acquiring his license he quickly became an annual member of the Medallion Club, which recognizes the top 10% of Realtors in Vancouver.  

James has worked all over Greater Vancouver, with the main focus of his work being in Vancouver, Burnaby, and North Vancouver. 

James works with people who are at many stages of property ownership, from 1st time buyers to seniors who are moving out of the family home.  His clients include individuals, couples, families, and people buying for investment.  James is also a certified Seniors Real Estate Specialist.  His solid understanding of the Vancouver Real Estate market as well as his training, sense of humour and experience make working with him easy. James values each of his clients and works with them personally. 

James’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Music from McGill University, as well as the teacher education program at UBC.  James worked in community living and as a parent educator before he chose to pursue his career in Real Estate.  He lives with his wife and 2 children in their Grandview neighbourhood home, which they bought and renovated in 1999.   Other loves include playing piano, his Les Paul guitar, skiing, mountain biking, and his dog, Chewbacca.
